The Sugarbush Draft is an interesting mix of Race breeds between the Draft breed and the Appaloosa. The result is a beautiful blend, not negated for shooting work yet elegant and smooth enough for saddle work or fox hunting. The descent of an Appaloosa is clearly shown in the CollectA model, and yet the physis of the entire body is very different from that. The Sugarbush draft horse is a new American breed. The first foal was foaled in 1999. Originally bred as flashy carriage horses for The Sugarbush Hitch Co. in Ohio, breeders today strive to produce boldly colored and versatile draft horses. The breed is suitable for driving, and has a friendly personality.
