Allosaurus was a carnivorous theropod dinosaur that lived 155 to 145 million years ago during the late Jurassic period in North America, Portugal, and possibly Tanzania. It is one of the best known dinosaurs and was the predator of the apex of its domain taking advantage of all species. The samples vary between 7.5 and 9.7 meters in length. He possessed strong arms to hold prey and could open his extremely wide mouth to help with the attack. It was known for many years as Antrodemus. The new model replaces the original and now outdated CollectA model in the popular range.
