Found in northern Italy in the early Jurassic period, 199-197 million years ago, and lived in an ancient beach setting. It was a carnivorous dinosaur and its name means ´Saltrio Hunter´ and it was announced to the public in 2018. It was an ancestor of Ceratosaurus that was issued by CollectA in 2018. It is only the third Italian dinosaur found and the second carnivorous. It is believed to have grown up to 8 meters in length and is the largest known carnivore from the early Jurassic era.
