The Toro bravo is a type of bovine that comes from the Uro (neolithic wild bull) already introduced in the North of Spain and Portugal by the Celts. The current bull is the result of a selection carried out since the 18th century by Spanish breeders, choosing for reproduction those specimens with different characteristics and with Bravery as a common denominator for all of them. It is an animal with a strong temperament, used to living in freedom, it is surly and distrustful, which makes it sharpen its instincts and learn easily. The Bravo bull symbolizes the popular festival and appears in all the arts from cave paintings to the most modern trends in Spanish culture (paintings, engravings, cinema and literature). It is one of the greatest jewels of world zootechnics. The bull developed by Deqube is made of resin, like a real replica with the maximum detail in its rags. It is painted by hand. This model is made in an attacking attitude, that is, attacking. The bull uses its antlers to address the object of its attack, humiliating its head and then raising its head to pick it up and finish it off. Stocking bulls are those that have white (or light) fur on the extremities, while the rest of the fur is dark. At first glance it seems that the bull is wearing white socks, hence this pretty name.
